This is a Star Wars inspired planet I thought of named Whabaria. This piece Planet of Whabaria was inspired a lot by the Star Wars films created by George Lucas. Certain parts of this piece could have used a little more blurring in Photoshop other parts of this like the Planets and landscape I think look natural which is what I was kinda going for. A few things I would change or do differently are I would blend certain parts like the cave and edges of the city in a little better. I would also add one or two more planets in to this piece because I think the sky is a little empty still.
Today I’m going to teach you how to build my incinerator in Minecraft. I built my first incinerator to destroy excess blocks I have had piled up in chests, I use mostly sandstone to build in my world so I had tons of sand to mine through to get to the sandstone so that led to my designing of this.
Today I will explain how to build my power plant with a little picture assistance
Step one: Place eight hoppers feeding into each other in a square formation.
Step two: Place comparators feeding out of four of the hoppers. I prefer using the corners of the square.
Step three: Place a block with a redstone torch on it on the other end of the comparators and place blocks with redstone dust like shown above.
Step four: Feed your redstone dust wiring into a repeater facing a dropper with a hopper feeding back into the dropper like above. Place a comparator feeding into a repeater.
Step five: place redstone coming out of the last repeater into what you want to power. This power Plant isn’t a stead flow of power it pulsates power every 1 tick so if you want the power you a comparator and repeater feeding out of the dropper too then set both repeater to max delay and place your redstone dust feeding out of them.
Final step: place one block in your top hoppers and one in the dropper then.
I’m sure you’re all wondering why did you build these in Minecraft. The reason is my Senior of high school my government Final was a Utopia project and this was my project I did for that but since I had established this like a kingdom with beliefs, laws (even though the NPCs don’t follow them), a constitution and a full kingdom map I thought I would keep it going as a fun place to get away and build cool things. I have a some awesome buildings not shown here like a working power plant, block incinerator, even a charcoal hopper pipeline leading to every furnace in the kingdom. I know this isn’t really classic art like I have built this site for but to me even Minecraft architecture is art, so every once in a while there will be blog posts and updates on my minecraft.
This was a photo a I took at Letchworth state park of a rail road bridge. This bridge is in soe of my favorite childhood memories. I know in Boces one of the first things we learned was your phone isn’t as good as a real camera but I do have to admit this picture isn’t too awful for being taken on a phone. although I would retake this photo with a real camera but I guess that might be my education talking a bit.
The explanation
A drawing using colors of emotions I’ve felt lately, certain elements within the drawing also show those feelings. My feelings in this piece are happiness and comfort, my hope for a better tomorrow I think are coming true. I am slowly becoming me again.
What would I do differently?
I would probably extend the sky up a bit more because to me it seems the sky just rapidly ends.
The explanation
A drawing using colors of emotions I’ve felt lately, certain elements within the drawing also show those feelings. My feelings in this piece are hope or rebirth among sadness and destruction. To me this piece shows that even when all hope seems lost their is a brighter tomorrow. To me this drawing is a reminder no mater whats going wrong in my world there’s always a tomorrow to make it right. This drawing can also be used to support the saying “tomorrow is a mystery and the rest is ancient history.”
What would I do differently?
I’d define my lines better, maybe more colors to show more contrast of emotion. I’d probably make some of the planets more rocky looking and a little more like planets. The life lesson I see in this drawing I wouldn’t change.
The explanation
This Photoshop is a GTO at a drive in within the countryside. This piece is pretty simply I think but I’ll explain it anyway, this beautiful GTO is driving through the countryside on a beautiful sunny day with a barn and windmill behind it. This is my last GTO inspired piece for a bit but the GTO will return.
